Myanmar workers will be recruited in the Republic of Korea’s service industry as part of the 16th TOPIK Test, 7th marking employment system, which will be held in 2024, and both male and female candidates are eligible to participate. Women who wish to take the test must have completed basic high school and can provide proof of completion with their online application.

As a preliminary, the online application for the EPS-TOPIK and Skills Test will be accepted from March 4 to 10 this year, with the test taking place on April 17. The EPS-TOPIK will be held from April 24 to July 26, depending on the type of job, and the results will be announced between May 17 and August 5.

The EPS-TOPIK will contain a test of the candidate’s Korean language skills, physical conditions, and experience; however, individuals who are colorblind or have a physical impairment will not be qualified to pass the exam.

Requirements are age between 18 and 39, no criminal record, no ban on leaving the mother country for a foreign country, no exile or resentment from the Republic of Korea (not an overstayer), and those who have lived in the Republic of Korea for more than 5 years on an E-9 or E-10 visa are not eligible to take the exam. A health test will be taken for those who are healthy and are not color blind.
